How To Win Friends And Influence People By Dale Carnegie (eBook)

Some people might read this  site and think that i’m a negative person, and often when people meet me after only reading this site they’re disappointed that i’m not some acidic ball of hate who complains about the world and everything in it. I’m actually a pretty positive and generally happy person.

Most Cynics (who are often also Misanthropes) are positive and nice people who are just easily disappointed. Things could be so good, the thinking goes, if not for these things or these people behaving this way to poison everyone and everything else.

This is an uplifting book, and i’ve came back to it many times in my life.

If you are having trouble getting what you want in life it might not be others, it might be you and your inability to get what you want by giving it to others and if haven’t read this book yet, you should.

  1. hey A, long time no post, busy I guess or I missed it, either way I miss your posts man. I’m in the USA as you may or may not have heard. I can say already that I don’t want to go home the freedom of not being watched by over 9000 security cameras is a wonderful one. Found out today that you guys got bin laden. Congrats on that one. Next time I’m out here I’ll be driving so I’ll head on down to CA.

  2. Also I saw this book recommended so I suppose I’ll give it a read. I’ve gotten back into reading, just finished fight club, American psycho and some history books. I’m looking at picking up some philosophy next time I head out to Barnes&Noble anything you’d recommend?
Everything is going better than great here. Side note, why did you invent bud select, she loves it, I think it’s gnats piss, give me Goose any day.

  3. I’m also an optimistic person and downloaded this on my Kindle a while ago preparing myself for dissapointment, I was thinking it was going to be some naff vintage self help book, but I couldn’t have been more wrong. I would certainly say this book has improved my social skills as well as introducing me to some new techiques I wouldn’t have thought of before, definitely a confidence builder. Whether you want to be a door to door salesman or just make more friends it’s a worthwhile read.
